Company Background

The Art of Rugs Corporation located in Naples, Florida was established in August 1990 to design and manufacture luxurious custom area rugs for high-end southwest Florida residences.  After almost a decade of creating some of the most elegant designs, we received numerous requests by golfer clients to design an indoor putting green that would match the distinguished decor of some of the areas finest homes and country clubs.  In November 1999, The Original Steve LaPorte Indoor Putting Green was developed, offering the most elegant look and realistic indoor putting experience available.

The high quality, low luster nylon surface that is used to create each handmade indoor putting green has the luxurious look and realistic feel that is unmatched in the industry.  Over the past 12 years and with a client list to prove it, The Original Steve LaPorte Indoor Putting Green has become the number one choice for individuals and corporations with descriminating taste.  With the ability to personalize these putting greens with name or company logo, The Original Steve LaPorte Indoor Putting Greens are proven to increase traffic for tradeshows and special events.  Along with its high quality, non-directional nylon surface, The Original Steve LaPorte Indoor Putting Greens offer a specially designed cup/flag system.  This allows a properly stroked putt to react just as it would on the golf course, without any ramped up or elevated surfaces.  A felt tapered contour pad is included to create endless break combinations.  Your indoor putting experience is complete with the recent addition of a removable backstop and portable chipping mat.
